About

Since 1993, Cities & Environment Unit has operated under the direction of Professor Frank Palermo and currently employs seven full-time Planners.

International and local project experience has provided us with both a global perspective on development issues and an understanding of the importance of local action in affecting positive change. Our belief that real change comes from the empowerment of community members is reflected in our uniquely community-based approach to all projects. Only through awareness, understanding and capacity building can real tangible results be achieved.
